Steve is a full time Firefighter/Paramedic in Lake County, serving the community for over 32 years. He grew up visiting his cousin’s farm on the weekends, lending a hand and playing with the animals, all the while learning and appreciating everything that goes into caring for and raising livestock. He makes sure the physical operation of the farm is running smoothly and the animals have what they need in food and shelter. He maintains our relationship with the processor, transports the livestock, and is head Maintenance Supervisor.
Lynne is a Property Accountant, PROUD mom of these three beautiful children with Steve, administrator of the farm on the business side, and of course, farm-hand.
Together we established Platinum Farms in 2015 with our children, building it up from a few head of 4-H cattle and hogs, into the business it is today; supplying our customers with a fresh, local source of beef, chicken, pork, lamb, and farm-fresh eggs. We take pride in our products and treat our stock with compassion and respect for providing us with the products they produce for us to sell and for you to consume.
We offer our products to the community at local farmers markets (watch our events page for locations), as well as private orders. If you wish to place an order, or have questions about our products or how it all works, please contact Steve at 440-477-3957. We offer retail cuts of beef, pork, chicken and lamb, as well at hogs by the half or whole, and beef by the quarter, half, or whole.
Thank you for supporting local farmers! We love what we do, and care about our consumers.

Ian is a 2019 graduate of St. Ignatius High School and a Junior at The University of Mount Union studying Environmental Chemistry. Ian, like his sisters, got his start in agriculture through being a member of 4-H. He has raised numerous livestock projects for the fair, and worked on a dairy farm for a few years as a young man. Ian is our go-to guy for the muscle around the farm, engineering the farm projects, equipment operation, and animal handling. He is interested in agronomy, chemistry, and the environment, and is hoping to fulfill those interests in a related career upon graduation. Ian enjoys spending his free time with his friends, traveling, shooting sports, hunting and camping.
